My loft in Vienna or sleep in an abandoned shop…

With this heat, I want to go east, under cooler skies, to discover Vienna and sleep at the Urbanauts.

The Urbanauts is a great concept for those who like changing addresses. Three young Austrian architects have decided to convert abandoned shops and old workshops into hotel rooms. Wifi, king size bed, safe, hairdryer, luxury shower, TV, minibar, Mac, coffee machine, organic cosmetics and cozy duvet, you have all the comfort of a 4 star in your own Viennese loft.

The trio has thought of everything and offers a notebook of their best addresses and two bicycles to live in the Wieden district as an Austrian hipster. Breakfast, classic or ayurvedic, is served at the delicious Café Goldegg, around the corner, the Moroccan hammam acts as a spa, and the personal trainer is the uber-cool alternative to the classic gym. “Our coach waits for clients in front of their rooms to take them running in the streets of Vienna,” says one of the creators.

We love it, don’t we?
