The favorite hotel of Anne and Sophie from the blog Travel,Food & Stuff…

I’m a fan of Anne and Sophie’s blog: Travel, Food & Stuff. They travel the world and find cool adresses, incredibles places and dreamy spots far from beaten paths. For MyTravelDreams, these 2 thirty-somethings who loves (a regular) getaway tell us about their favorite spot: a Peruvian surf-lodge.

‘The Ecolodge Mancora has been our favorite in Peru. We loved Mancora, this little seaside town from the North, it’s the best place to chill after a road trip. Less than 2 hours from Equator’s boulder, it’s perfect for a few hours of surfing (or kite surfing), massages under the palm trees facing the Pacific, horseback-rides on the beach or simply farniente. We fell in love with this luxurious cabin made of recycled materials. The Ecolodge Mancora, it’s 5 rooms with sea-views, wood everywhere, natural shade to stay away from the burning hot sunshine and pool cleaned with a UV lamp without any chemical products. We will go back there tomorrow morning for the vitality breakfast cooked each morning by the delicious Jovita in the big shared kitchen, the peaceful place, the « ceviche » (to die for), the welcoming of the hosts in love with the Peruvian culture, pelicans, sea turtles and whales. ‘
