‘It was love at first sight for this place right after seeing a small photo in the Travel and Leisure magazine. I love the unbeaten paths, it’s one of my favorite spots because it’s quite difficult to get there. You must take a plane to Managua, then a little plane to Big Corn Island then a ferry boat. Now for me, « complicated » means travelers and adventurers, no mass tourism but instead, little gems waiting to be discovered.
It’s the only « trendy » hotel of the island. Some little beach cabins, a gypsie atmosphere, but with luxury and comfort. The water is so clear and turquoise you can see the manta rays from the terrace. Small tiny sharks come near your feet too! Yoga classes are insane, and focus on the physical aspect and in an open-studio with a tropical feel. The menu depends on the island daily deliveries by boat, you’ll eat some kale salads and drink incredible smoothies.
I love it because you do nothing but yoga, snorkeling, paddle-board and love (for the lucky ones) ‘
